This internship is designed for students who want to learn, grow, and take action in their own neighborhoods while building real-world skills and leadership experience.

Location: Community-based sites in Northeast Philadelphia & Nicetown–Tioga
Program length: 16 weeks, starting March 6th -July 8th, 2026

What You’ll Do as an Intern
Interns participate in hands-on learning and community-based projects, including:
Helping grow and care for a community garden
Learning how food access, sustainability, and social justice intersect
Supporting food distributions and neighborhood events
Participating in workshops, group discussions, and trainings
Working with peers on small team projects
Sharing ideas, reflections, and presentations about what you learn
No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn, show up, and contribute.
