PAR Internship Program

Project Always Receiving (PAR) invites high school students to apply for our 2026 Social Justice Internship, a paid, hands-on program centered on community impact, food justice, and agricultural sustainability.

This internship is designed for students who want to learn, grow, and take action in their own neighborhoods while building real-world skills and leadership experience.

Program Details

Eligibility: High school students (ages 14–18)

Location: Community-based sites in Northeast Philadelphia & Nicetown–Tioga

Program length: 16 weeks, starting March 6th -July 8th, 2026

What You’ll Do as an Intern

Interns participate in hands-on learning and community-based projects, including:

  • Helping grow and care for a community garden

  • Learning how food access, sustainability, and social justice intersect

  • Supporting food distributions and neighborhood events

  • Participating in workshops, group discussions, and trainings

  • Working with peers on small team projects

  • Sharing ideas, reflections, and presentations about what you learn

No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn, show up, and contribute.

What You’ll Gain
