Internship Program
Project Always Receiving, in collaboration with LaSalle University and Thomas Jefferson University, is offering a 16-week PAID internship for high school students residing in the 19124 and 19140 zip codes. This program aims to empower youth through hands-on experience in community service, event planning, and academic research.

Internship Activities
- Community Gardens:
- Cultivating and maintaining community gardens
- Learning sustainable gardening practices
- Engaging with local residents to promote community involvement
- Event Planning and Organization:
- Planning and organizing community events
- Collaborating with team members to ensure successful event execution
- Developing skills in project management and coordination
- Fundraising:
- Assisting in fundraising activities to support community projects
- Learning about various fundraising techniques and strategies
- Engaging with potential donors and sponsors
- Research:
- Conducting research on areas of post-secondary study interests
- Gaining insights into academic and career opportunities
- Preparing reports and presentations based on research findings
- Community Meetings:
- Attending local community meetings
- Presenting internship progress and community project updates
- Networking with community leaders and stakeholders
